My name's Kate - nice to meet you! I live with my husband Andrew in Bedfordshire, England. We got married in 2013 and I love being married!
Back in 2012 I discovered quilting, which has since turned into a bit of an addiction....personally I blame Kirsty Allsopp and her Handmade Home series on Channel 4, but it has nevertheless lead to many happy hours of sewing. I have since fallen in love with many different designers quilts, from Kathy Doughty and Sarah Fielke at Material Obsession in Australia to Camille Roskelley and Fig Tree & Co at Moda. Art Galley Fabrics is a new discovery of mine... Mmmm....
I am a sucker for lovely fabrics, have a very eclectic taste, but am especially into and drawn to modern quilts (so many talented people out there!)
I am still learning as I go (so bare with me) and have so many started but unfinished quilts (bet I'm not the only one!) but I love it.
